Jaipur
Jaipur acts as the gateway to India’s most colourful and enchanting state. The Pink City is the perfect place for Instagrammers. Head over to the Hawa Mahal, the honeycombed hive that rises five storeys high to click spellbinding images. If the dizzying heights of the Hawa Mahal are not good enough for you, then you can head to the Amer FortPalace. The magnificent Amer Fort Palace rises from a rocky mountain. You can either take a jeep or an elephant ride to reach the fort. The fort and the wall, with their ramparts, provide a panoramic view of the city and the surrounding area. When you visit the Amer FortPalace, do find some time to visit the Panna Meena Ka Kund, a Rajasthani stylebeautiful step-well. This delightful site is a spot that only a handful of tourists visit, giving you ample opportunities to click Insta-worthy photographs. If Panna Meena Ka Kund doesn’t satisfy your lust for step-wells, you can visit the Chand Baori stepwell at Abhaneri. The Chand Baori’s geometrical pattern forms a maze with a play of light and shadow, providing opportunities for some drool worthy pictures.

Jodhpur
A jumble of blue cubes, Jodhpur is city of medieval streets and bazaars. The mighty Mehrangarh Fort is an architectural spectacle and masterpiece of Rajput architecture. Mehrangarh Fort provides ample angles and opportunities for Instagramers to get the perfect shot of the sea of blue stretching below. And if blue is really your colour, you could easily head into any of the lanes of the city of Jodhpur and click away to your heart’s content. Another one of the great places for taking fabulous pictures is the Jaswant Thada. This white marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Sing II is located near a lake and provides a peaceful and perfect backdrop for taking some amazing images.

Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer might be a remote city, but it is one of Rajasthan’s biggest tourist destinations. The Golden Fort, with its ninety nine bastions, evokes the grandeur of an era long gone. The fort rises like a mirage from the desert and is perfect for Instagram pics. Another great place for clicking some pictures is the Gadisar Lake, which used to be the only source of water for Jaisalmer city. The lake is surrounded by beautifully carved Chattris, Temples, and Ghats, and is perfect for taking some amazing photos. Talking of beautifully constructed Chattris, Bada Bagh is also an ideal place to get more pictures of these beautiful structures. Bada Bagh features a series of Royal Cenotaphs of the Maharajas of Jaisalmer.

Udaipur
The “Most Romantic Spot in India”, Udaipur is also known as the City of Lakes. One should start with the City Palace, which is the largest palace in Rajasthan. The palace has a façade that is 224m long and one can get some amazing shots here. The next on the list should be Lake Pichola, whose serene waters reflect the hills that surround the city. You can get some breathtakingly beautiful shots of the sunrise and sunsets from Lake Pichola. The Monsoon Palace on the other hand provides a panoramic view of the surrounding areas, perfect to a get birds eye shot of the nearby region. Rajasthan is a state that is full of grandeur as well as rustic cities and offers numerous opportunities to capture its mystique in snapshots that are definitely Insta-worthy.
