The Rajasthan has been crowned the Best State in the Domestic Destinations Category at the 12th Edition of Travel Plus Leisure the India's Best Tourism Awards 2023.

Rajasthan has clinched top positions in the Readers’ Travel Awards by Condé Nast Traveller. Following an extensive online poll held from June to August 2023, the results highlighted Rajasthan's remarkable achievements across multiple categories including Favourite Leisure Destination in India & Favourite Indian State for Road Trips.

Rajasthan has been honored with the Gold award in the Outlook Traveller Awards-2023 for the Best Wedding Destination in India. Ms. Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary of Rajasthan Tourism, graciously accepted the award during the Outlook Traveller Awards-2023 ceremony held in New Delhi on Friday evening. Rajasthan, renowned for its grand palatial venues and rich heritage, provides the perfect setting for a truly royal union.

Rajasthan was awarded with the ‘Best State’ award at the 11th edition of readers' choice Travel + Leisure India's Best Award on 16 November, 2022 in New Delhi at the hotel ITC Maurya. Mr Daleep Singh Rathore, Deputy Director Marketing received the award on behalf of Department of Tourism.

Rajasthan has won the "Most Scenic Road - Udaipur to Jodhpur" title in the Best Emerging Destination category at the India Today Tourism Survey and Awards 2022. Minister of State for Culture Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal presented the award to Principal Secretary of Tourism Ms. Gayatri Rathore and RTDC Chairman Shri Dharmendra Rathore during the award ceremony. The Group Editorial Director, India Today Shri Raj Chengappa, and Secretary Tourism, Govt of India Shri Arvind Singh were also present at the event.
