National Police Memorial

The National Police Memorial (NPM) site is located at the crest of Shantipath in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi and the NPM campus has a tiered landscape having capacity to accommodate over 750 persons. It provides a panoramic view of the actual podium and ceremonial parade ground in front from various angles at the site. The newly constructed Wall of Valour at NPM on which names of the martyrs are inscribed, stands as a silent acknowledgement of the bravery and sacrifice of Police personnel, who have laid down their lives in the line of duty since Independence. National Police Museum at the site of National Police Memorial focuses on the sacrifices and martyrdom of thousands of Policemen in the service of protection of life & liberty of citizens and unity and integrity of the country. It supplements and complements the essential spirit of the National Police Memorial by providing immersive and interactive experience to the visitors to the Memorial. Like all the Museums throughout the world, this Museum is an ongoing project. Efforts are made on continuing basis to improve the variety and quality of contents by sourcing new documents, photographs and memorabilia from diverse sources to imbue the Museum with a spirit of dynamism and constant evolution.
