    Of the laurels that decorate the tourism industry in India, Rajasthan is definitely one of the more popular destinations. With forts and palaces and natural sightseeing spots, Rajasthan has always been on the top of anyone’s bucket list. However, not many people are aware of the night tourism in Rajasthan. It’s true that you visit the temples, forts, and palaces in the day, but even at night, there are a lot of activities that you can partake in.That being said, here’s a list of the best activities and night life spots in some of the main Rajasthani cities.

  • Jaipur

    The Pink City, the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is one of the most visited cities in the state. The city is full of numerous attractions to keep you busy throughout the day. However, the fun simply does not have to end when night falls. Start with a meal at Masala Chowk, where you can find the best and most popular street food in Jaipur that have come to one place. You simply cannot skip this if you a foodie soul and indulge in the local flavours. Then, you can head off towards Amar Jawan Jyoti for the light & sound show that is played in Hindi and English both, Hindi voice over is simply not to miss as this has been recorded by the Bollywood actor – Ajay Devgan. Then the other cool time can be spent at Amer Fort, where you can experience light and sound shows, in either Hindi or English, would recommend the Hindi one again as the voice over is of the legend, Amitabh Bacchan . The nights at Jaipur could be well spent in many other ways : A peaceful walk right in front of Jal Mahal to the local dances and food at few restaurants in Jaipur like : Spice Court, Chokhi Dhani should be a part of itinerary.

Then, you can head of towards Bagore ki Haveli to witness the authentic culture of Rajasthan with a cultural dance show that is held there every day. You can follow that up there is the light and sound show at the City Palace and the musical garden near Dudh Talai Lake. After that, you can head towards Fateh Sagar Lake for some delicious street food, and end your night with a blast! Above all, you always have the option to sit at the restaurants at Lake Pichola and simply enjoy the lovel night beside the lake and view of the City Palace.

Then there are the options for night camps at Sam Sand Dunes where you can visit and enjoy the a wonderful dance and dinner at the Thar Desert of India, in case you are in the mood for something different. A not to miss thing when you visit Jaisalmer is the light and sound show in the Jaisalmer War Museum this is probably the very first show in India .
